*New Video* – The South Bay Regional Housing Trusts Launches

The board of directors for the newly formed South Bay Regional Housing Trust (SBRHT) had its first meeting as a joint powers authority. It's now a separate entity from the South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG)—the organization that led the early feasibility work to establish the trust. 🏡 The SBRHT is designed to help fund the development and construction of affordable housing in cities that are members of the trust.🏗️ Watch to learn more about how the SBRHT will potentially benefit South Bay cities by leading to more affordable housing in our subregion. 🏘️ 🤝

The SBCCOG’s Energy Team Catalogs Energy-Saving Opportunities for Hermosa Beach

Our Energy team recently paid a visit to the City of Hermosa Beach's newly refurbished and electrified Clark Building. They were there to assess and catalog the energy-using equipment to help the city identify opportunities in the future for low-cost, energy-efficient upgrades. It's all part of the SBCCOG's Facility Equipment Inventory program in partnership with the Southern California Regional Energy Network.

SoCalRen Powering Gardena

In January we gathered at Yas' Market in Gardena to celebrate a major milestone for our local community. More than 20 local businesses received no-cost energy efficiency upgrades through the our partner SoCalREN's Commercial Programs. Yas Market, a participating business themselves, opened their doors to bring together local business owners, elected officials, and the dedicated partners who made it all possible.
