Grass Replacement Rebate Program
Get money for removing grass in your garden! The Turf Replacement Program takes a multi-pronged approach to maximize water utilization and conservation. A sustainable landscape will not only help you save on your water bill by reducing your water use, you will also help recharge the groundwater, reduce urban runoff and enhance wildlife habitat—overall benefiting yourself and the Los Angeles watershed
Ocean-friendly gardens are native and/or drought tolerant landscapes which have the capacity to capture, infiltrate and utilize runoff from storm events. Ocean-friendly gardens prevent contaminated water from reaching our waterways, and eventually the ocean. The ocean-friendly approach revolves around the principles of CPR—conservation, permeability and retention, which aim to conserve water, while still creating aesthetically pleasing gardens.
