SBCCOG Client Aid Program and St. Margaret’s Center Help Inglewood Man Accelerate Toward Job Security

Randal Lauderdale completed a job training program and earned his Passenger (P) endorsement on his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with support from SBCCOG’s Client Aid program and Measure A-funded Lyft rides. Randal is now pursuing employment opportunities that will help him achieve long-term stability for himself and his brother in the South Bay.

This initiative provided critical financial assistance to 80-year-old Tatsuya Kataoka, who was experiencing homelessness in Gardena, and connected him with local housing partners that led him to find permanent senior housing SagePoint in Wilmington.
