Steering Committee Meeting

The Steering Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, October 10th, 2022 at 12 noon BOTH via Zoom and in person at the SBCCOG Office located at 2355 Crenshaw Blvd., Suite 125, Torrance, CA 90501.

We are asking in-person attendees to bring your laptop, tablet or a printed copy of the agenda as we will only have two courtesy copies available.

F. South Bay Regional Housing Trust Next Steps – 12:20 PM
 SB 1444 is now law and we have a South Bay Regional Housing Trust
 Next steps are outlined in the attached memo
 ACTION: 1) Recommend to the Board of Directors that the formation of the Trust be funded
through REAP 2.0 funds, and
2) That the Steering Committee ask for board volunteers for a subcommittee
that can start discussing next steps including the drafting an RFP for
consulting services so that when the REAP 2.0 funds become available, we
can circulate it immediately.

G. Local Travel Network – 12:35 PM

 ACTION: Review and rank wayfinding signs and review the final design ideas,
complete the rank-order preference survey, and consult with their city council
colleagues to inform a final vote at the November 17th SBCCOG Board of Directors meeting.

H. Open House – November 17 – 12:50 pm
 Start time 4:30 pm before the Board meeting
 Invitations being developed
 Introduce that this is the 20th Year of the South Bay Environmental Services Center
 Draft program and logistics to be presented at the meeting
