South Bay Cities Green Task Force Meeting Thursday, April 19, 2012 2:00 – 4:00 pm has been Cancelled

 

Greetings, Due to the large number of Earth Day events happening in the South Bay over the next two weeks, the South Bay Cities Green Task Force meeting will be cancelled. Please be sure to participate and take advantage of the Earth Day activities in your city. For more information on Earth Day events, please visit www.sbesc.com/calendar.

 

The next Green Task Force meeting will be Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 2-4 pm at the South Bay Environmental Services Center offices, 20285 S. Western Ave, Suite 100, Torrance, CA 90501.

South Bay Cities Green Task Force Meeting Thursday, April 19, 2012 2:00 – 4:00 pm

 

 Please join us on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the South Bay Cities Green Task Force meeting at the new SBESC Office in Torrance. The program will include confirmed speaker, Barbara Devico with the Tobacco Program, Behavior Health Services/National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence. She will be discussing the dangers of second-hand smoke as it relates to programs and policy in South Bay cities and give an update on the recently passed Outdoor Smoke-Free Policy in Hermosa Beach. Lisa Santora, MD will give an update on Vitality City, and the SBCCOG’s David Magarian will be presenting on Net Zero Energy Homes. The agenda is below. The New SBESC office: 20285 S.
