“The best way to predict the future is to create it.” – Abraham Lincoln.
The South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG) board of directors invites your participation for our 22nd Annual General Assembly.
The General Assembly is an opportunity for the region’s thought leaders to gather, share ideas and discuss important issues.
The theme for the SBCCOG’s 2022 General Assembly is “Back? to the Future: Reimagining the South Bay.”
Champions of innovation from our region will discuss their game-changing projects to inform South Bay cities and their leaders how to plan for the future.
Panels on:
“Building a Community of Innovation”
and
“A Glimpse into the Future: Aerospace & Defense – Federal/Local Intersection”
Plus
TEDx-style talks on reducing our carbon footprint and building factories in space
Attendees will hear from speakers who live “out of the box” how cities can leverage a new multi-dimensional world, which includes 3D rocket printing and manufacturing in space, to create a business-friendly environment, well-trained workforce, and a sustainable, livable community.
The event is designed with elected officials, city staff, city commissioners, residents and local businesses in mind.
Join us to explore private sector perspectives on the future of the South Bay to meet our vision of a “smart, livable, robust and vibrant” subregion.
**SBCCOG will be following County and Local (Carson Community Center) guidelines regarding COVID-19.**
