The five member Traffic Safety Committee serves as a public forum for traffic related issues including placement of traffic control devices, consideration of traffic calming solutions, safety-related tools and posted speed limits. The Committee will also provide comments and recommendations to the City Council regarding the Circulation Element of the General Plan Update, permit parking in coastal zones and roadway safety relating to multi-modal use of the public rights-of-way. The Traffic Safety Committee generally meets on the 4th Monday, every-other month at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room at City Hall. For more information, please see attached announcement below.
