      • Volunteer Reception – November 17
        • All 25 of our volunteers will be honored as well as special recognition for 10 based on hours worked.  Our volunteers assist SBCCOG from staffing events to conducting research and analysis.  Because of their efforts, the SBCCOG is able to do more with less. All Board members are invited and encouraged to attend.  Our utility partners and legislative offices will also be in attendance.  Staff is seeking gifts for the volunteers. 
      • City Recognition Event – December 1
        • This very important event  is when we recognize all of our cities and their staff working on energy issues for their outstanding efforts regarding energy efficiency.  An exciting program is planned to spark ideas including a special presentation with a guest speaker titled “A Net Zero Energy Strategy for the Road Ahead.”  The free event and will be held at the Lawndale Community Center, a LEED Silver building.
