B. MOU with Inglewood for Caltrans Slow Speed Network Administration and Transfer of Funds

 

C. SBACC meetings to be held at SBCCOG office

  • Since February 2018, the SBACC has been holding their Board meetings at our office. They pay $25 for the use of the room and we supply the coffee. The current agreement expires on December 31, 2018.

D. SCE/SCG 2019 Eighth Amendment

  • ACTION:  Approve contract amendment for additional year with compensation of $100,000 from SCG and $203,958 from SCE for the SBCCOG  

 

E. No Cost Time Extension for Siembab Corporation re: Regional Broadband Initiative

  • ACTION:  Approve a no cost time extension to June 30, 2019 for professional services for the Regional Broadband Initiative

 

F. Memordandum of Agreement with City of Gardena for Cost Sharing Implementation of the Coordinated Integrated Monitoring Program (CIMP) for the Dominguez Channel Watershed Management Area

S. Update on Homeless Program – 1:30 pm

  • On December 6th, a Housing and Health Resources Fair was held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Redondo Beach.  The SBCCOG worked with Supervisor Hahn’s office to secure the portable shower.  The SBCCOG also confirmed the attendance of the public defender’s office mobile legal clinic, the DMV, and Cal Water Services.  Further details at the meeting.
  • SBCCOG staff attended a presentation on the new PATH program called “LeaseUp”, an initiative to assist property owners and property managers in navigating the process of filling vacant units with people in need of housing.  Financial incentives, a dedicated team, and consistent support to ensure a smooth process are part of the program.  Website:  leaseuplosangeles.org
  • SBCCOG staff attended the First Responders training on December 5th.  Update at the meeting
  • SBCCOG hosted Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi’s Homeless Action Group meeting on November 27th; the next meeting is scheduled for January 15th at 2 pm
  • Next meeting of the SBCCOG’s Homeless Services Task Force meeting is scheduled for  January 9th from 2-4pm.
