Steering Committee Meeting

The Steering Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, September 9th, 2024 at 12 noon BOTH via Zoom and in person at the SBCCOG Office located at 2355 Crenshaw Blvd., Suite 125, Torrance, CA 90501.
We are asking in-person attendees to bring your laptop, tablet or a printed copy of the agenda as we will only have two courtesy copies available.
PUBLIC COMMENTS: Unless otherwise noted in the Agenda, the Public can only comment on SBCCOG related business that is within the jurisdiction of cities and/or items listed on the Agenda during the Public Comment portion of the meeting. Projects
Letter of no prejudice requested for Metro project
Staff will start preparing RFP’s that will be needed to start the projects so that they can be circulated but not started until we have the notice to proceed. This is because instead of these projects being 2 years as we were originally told, they are currently only 1 year. SCAG is lobbying for an extension but they don’t have it at this time
ACTION: That the Board authorize the Chair to sign the Resolution for an MOU with SCAG for resumption of the REAP 2.0 grant program to receive reimbursement grant fund subject to legal review.
