The Steering Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, March 8th, 2021 via Zoom.

To address the SBCCOG Steering Committee on any agenda item or a matter within the Steering Committee’s purview, please provide written comments by 11:00am,  March 8, 2021 via email to [email protected].  All written comments submitted will become part of the official record.  Unless otherwise noted in the Agenda, the Public can only provide written comment on SBCCOG related business that is within the jurisdiction of the SBCCOG and/or items listed on the Agenda which will be addressed during the Public Comment portion of the meeting (Item #IV).

K.  Planner for the SBCCOG – special assessment

  • Since the last Board meeting, the Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes City Councils have both approved the special assessment
  • At last month’s meeting we had the support of El Segundo, Hermosa Beach, Lomita, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach & Torrance
  • A report on the status of the other cities will be sought and reported on
  • ACTION: Recommend special assessment to Board at April meeting

L.  Board Meeting agenda development

  • April – Clearwater presentation from Sanitation Districts, Regional Energy Network Presentation, Bill Brand re: local control zoning initiative
  • May – budget/election, Rex Richardson re: AQMD, LTN follow-up

  • While we have had procurement rules and procedures that we have been following, they aren’t all in one place in a formal policy
