Local Agency Technical Assistance (LATA) Grants Briefing

On Wednesday, June 30th, from 1:30 – 3:30 pm, the South Bay Cities Council of Governments will be hosting a virtual (Zoom) briefing on Local Agency Technical Assistance (LATA) grant program for funding for broadband.  We expect applications to be coming out in the next month.

SBCCOG will be joined by LA Digital Equity Action League (LA DEAL) – the CPUC-designated Regional Broadband Consortium for Los Angeles County – and the California Community Foundation Digital Equity Initiative. Together we will share information on how to prepare for and package LATA grant applications so they can be submitted to the California Public Utilities Commission. Specific discussion topics will include:

–>Process + Timelines for Applications
2. “Reimbursable Work Product” + “Technical Assistance Activities”
3. Collaborative Opportunities: Identify + Match Resources
