Livable Communities Dec Cancelled

The Livable Communities Working Group will not meet during the month of December. Please review the important information below.

 

All:

SCAG has yet to produce the long promised guidelines for developing the sub-regional Sustainable Communities Strategy.  This document is now expected right after January 1, 2011. There may also be some changes to SCAG’s Climate and Economic Development Project that could have implications for how we will proceed.

With the holidays upon us, it seems best to cancel this month’s LCWG meeting.  The SCS picture should be very clear by our January 19 meeting, including the SBCCOG’s response to the SCAG plan.  Hope you all have a wonderful holiday and are ready to chew on some meaty issues (if you are still hungry) in the new year.
