Important Meeting Information on South Bay Measure R Hwy Program below:
Thank you for your participation in the Measure R Highway Fund Implementation Program.
We appreciate you and your staff’s help in clarifying projects that are included
on the attached revised South Bay Measure R Potential Eligible Candidate Project
list.   This list has been updated from the one that was presented to you prior to
the last IWG meeting and discussed at individual meetings with you and/or your
staff.
We ask that you once again look over projects located in your jurisdiction to
confirm that the project limits, description, design status, cost estimate, etc.
are as up to date and accurate as possible.
Please keep in mind that the numbering system is not a reflection of priorities.
The projects are sorted by major State Highway Corridors.
Please pay particular attention to the columns under “Status” in this table.  In
order for the Iteris team to take this process to the next level of assessing
project readiness and nexus, and most importantly prioritizing projects, we need to
receive from you any additional available project information at the latest by
Friday, September 3rd.
Needed information includes any call-for-projects application materials, planning
studies, cost estimates, funding agreements, etc.  that would clearly document the
projects status.
The initial set of projects submitted to Metro will likely be a near-term (5-year)
list of projects, which would potentially consist of those that currently are at the
preliminary design stage or beyond.  In order to have as many projects considered
for the initial near-term submission to Metro for funding we need to have as much
current project documentation as possible.
Attached  is also a second list which includes projects that were removed from the
original list, which were deemed to be ineligibility for funding under the Measure
R Highway Program.  However, please keep in mind that many of these projects can be
eligible to be funded under Call for Projects and Measure R Local Return programs.

If you have any questions, please contact me via e-mail or phone at 626-357-4445.
