CLOSED: August 17, 2012: The SBCCOG released a Request for Proposal for Professional Independent Audit Services on July 16, 2012.
Proposals are now due by August 17, 2012. Please refer to page 2 of the attached RFP for the Proposal Calendar.
The South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG) (California Joint Powers Authority) is requesting proposals from qualified Certified Public Accounting firms to audit its financial statements for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2012 through June 30, 2014, to be conducted in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, and United States Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations. A recommendation and proposed contract will be prepared for review and approval by the SBCCOG at its August 23, 2012 meeting. The SBCCOG reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The proposal package shall present all inclusive audit fees for each year of the proposed contract term.

It is the intent of the SBCCOG to contract for the services presented herein for a term of three (3) years. The SBCCOG reserves the right to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional one-year terms.
