CLOSED: Request for Proposal - Electrical Sub-Metering Installations

CLOSED August 17, 2012:   The SBCCOG is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to design and install permanent electrical sub-metering for the purpose of measuring interval power consumption for various groups of city buildings. Please see the Request for Proposal Electrical Sub-Meter Installations description attached below.

Bidder Question:
Q: To integrate the sub-meter with the EEMIS system, what connection type is required?

A: Connection between the sub-meter and EEMIS is established by connecting the sub-meter to the building IT system.  This can be done with CAT 5 cables using RJ45 terminals or via a wireless connection if a hardwired connection is not feasible and wifi is available.

Additional information for bidders:

One additional location has been added to the list of potential sites.  The new location is the El Segundo City Hall Complex where a sub-meter installation is needed to be able to monitor three buildings that share one utility meter.
