The Housing Forum will seek practical, working solutions to the housing crisis and issues of housing supply in the South Bay and Greater Los Angeles with lasting impacts statewide. This important event is made possible thanks to a major contribution from the National Association of Realtors®.

The Housing Forum kicks off with a keynote address from California Senator Ben Allen (D-26) followed by three panels that progressively set the stage to address critical questions on housing in our region. The panels are:

1. Making the Case for Housing
2. Different Options for Expanding Housing Supply
3. The South Bay Perspective on Housing Legislation

The last panel will discuss from all perspectives the significant and at times controversial housing legislation being considered in Sacramento.

Adequate, affordable, and available housing options are critical for economic growth, high quality jobs, and a firm foundation in our communities. Your presence in our audience of public officials, urban planners, real estate professionals and development professionals will lead the way toward a vibrant and wide-ranging discussion.
