The SBCCOG met bi-monthly Climate Action Plan (CAP) / Energy Efficiency Climate Action Plan (EECAP) Working Group meetings to 1) share resources and best practices amongst city staff about measures and approaches to climate and energy efficiency planning and programs; 2) provide city staff with CAP/EECAP updates and presentations on deliverables and work progress; and 3) receive cities' feedback and input on deliverables and work plan.

The CAP/EECAP program is funded through the South Bay Cities Council of Governments CAP Assessment, a Southern California Edison grant, and the Southern California Gas Company.
